ABOUT THE ROUTE:

This is the hardest climb in Adelaide, and it's never featured in the Santos Tour Down Under (probably because the groupetto would emerge at the start of a stage... hardly entertaining!) We tried to think what this one is like for people who hate climbing - we landed on a comparison to voluntary root canal surgery with no anaesthetic!

You'll spend time riding consistently over 20% maximums and over 12% for a fifth of your journey. Enjoy.
