Pop icon Vanessa Amorosi will get ‘absolutely everybody’ ready to party at the Santos Tour Down Under opening night concert, headlining an exciting line-up of music acts at the festival’s City of Adelaide Tour Village.

Amorosi will perform after the presentation of the competing men’s and women’s teams on the Santos Main Stage in the City of Adelaide Tour Village in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga on Friday 13 January, ahead of ten days of world-class cycling across South Australia.

Throughout her enduring career, the popular performer has been nominated for 16 ARIA awards for her popular songs such as Absolutely Everybody, Shine and her latest album, City of Angels.

The singer joins an exciting mix of musical entertainment who will entertain fans, such as First Nations Triple J Unearthed duo MARLON X RULLA, who will perform alongside Amorosi.

Other acts include Stace Cadet, famous for his Hottest 100 featured dance song, ‘Energy’, DJ Mell Hall, MORGEN + TINK, Adelaide’s own DJ Ruby Chew and much more.

All live performances will take place on the Santos Main Stage at the City of Adelaide Tour Village.

In the space of about two years, 19-year-old Tilly Tjala Thomas's soulful take on electro-folk with a strong storytelling bent has already seen her nominated for Best New Talent at the NIMAs after receiving the Unearthed Award at the 2021 NIMAs, enticed regular rotation on triple j with English and traditional Nukunu language-fused track Ngai Yurlku Nhiina, and performed at the Made In Adelaide showcase at BIGSOUND. She has found herself opening for Bernard Fanning and Something For Kate, and recently played alongside Paul Kelly, for Adelaide City Council renaming of Paul Kelly Lane.
