The 2023 Santos Tour Down Under stages head to regional parts of South Australia like the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsla and Barossa regions.
From the Adelaide CBD, our stage starts are only a short drive, bus ride or bike ride away:

Bike Ride: 43.9km (approximately 3 hours 41 minutes)

Men's Oakley Stage 2
Start: Jetty Road, Brighton
Drive: 25 minute drive
Bus Ride: 48 minutes via the 720 Bus Route
Bike Ride: 15.1km (approximately 51 minutes)

Men's Hahn Stage 3
Start: The Parade, Norwood
Drive: 9 minutes
Bus Ride: 21 minutes via the H20, H21 H22 Bus Route
Bike Ride: 3.7km (approximately 15 minutes)
Taxi or Uber: $8-$19
With extensive road closures in place and limited access along this route, vehicle access to key points on the race like the Corkscrew and Checker Hill climb will be strictly limited. Bike access is the best way to reach these points.
Want to see Norton Summit and Corkscrew?
Ride the race route to Norton Summit after 8am to catch the action!
Make a left at Marble Hill Road just before Ashton. Follow Marble Hill Rd & Montacute Rd until you reach the top of Corkscrew.
Note: Corkscrew Rd and Montacute Rd heading towards the city are closed until the main Tour race passes at approx. 2:15pm.
Want to see the sprint at Lobethal and Corkscrew?
Ride the race route to get to Lobethal after 9:15am to catch the first sprint!
Make a left at Cudlee Creek Rd and follow it until you reach Gorge Rd.
Follow Gorge Rd in race direction only until you reach the bottom of Corkscrew.

- Don’t travel up Montacute Rd from Maryvale Rd!
- Make sure you keep left and follow all road rules

Start: Port Willunga Esplanade, Port Willunga
Drive: 49 minutes
Bus Ride: Take the Santos Tour Down Under Spectator Bus
Bike Ride: 48.6km (approximately 2 hours and 53 minutes)
Taxi or Uber: $54-$130
Men's Schwalbe Stage 5
Start: King William Road, Unley
Drive: 6 minutes
Bus Ride: 9 minutes via the 200 or 200C Bus Route
Bike Ride: 2.2km (approximately 9 minutes)
Taxi or Uber: $6-11
With extensive road closures in place and limited access at the top of Mount Lofty, vehicle access to the finish line will be strictly limited. We recommend that spectators who are driving and wish to watch from the finish line arrive before 11:30am.
Bike access will continue throughout the day and is the best way to reach the finish line after this time.

Buses depart from the Tour Village in Victoria Square / Tarntanyangga.
The bus will take you to the start line where you’ll see the race start at approximately 11:30am. From there, the bus will drive you to the finish like where you’ll catch the race finishes and the podiums before taking you back into the city where you can enjoy the festivities in the Tour Village.
