Sidewood Restaurant & Cellar Door

ATDW pixel

Set amongst a stunning mix of eucalyptus and landscaped gardens, the Sidewood Restaurant is only a 25-minute drive from the CBD. The luxury landmark’s vast jet-black cladded exterior and 45-degree pitch gable roofline stands in contrast to warm, natural materials of the interior, including giant Victoria ash trusses, local stone flooring and warm caramel leather banquettes. The venue also features an eclectic collection of Australian art, including the works by Oslen, Blackman, Boissevain and Grey Smith.

Head Chef Ali Seedsman offers up a delectable Australasian menu, meticulously designed to highlight the exceptional fresh, local produce of the Adelaide Hills and surrounds. The interior flows outside to an enormous hardwood deck catering to small and large group dining, under the shade of our marquee, with in-built heaters for chilly winter days and misting fans to keep you cool in summer. Watch our Chef’s hand-stretch freshly made dough and create mouth-watering pizzas and breads in our wood-fired stone oven.

Take your Sidewood adventure to the next level with our range of unique experiences. From tasting paddles, VIP luxury day beds to lawn bowls and children’s nature play, we have something to suit the whole family.

Though our history is short, Sidewood has achieved five red-star accreditation from James Halliday and in 2016 became the largest eco-sustainable winery in the Adelaide Hills.
